Meet the Coaches:
Glenn Bohlman, Head Coach
Hey Tidal Waves! I’m super excited to be returning as a coach for my fourth year, this time as Head Coach! I am currently attending the University of Virginia, where I am planning on studying commerce. I have been swimming since I was 5 years old and have been with the Tidal Waves for 12 years. During the course of my swimming journey, I also swam for NOVA and the JR Tucker swim team and am currently on the UVA club team. I can’t wait to work with all of the swimmers and am looking forward to a great season!
Carson Elliott, Assistant Coach
Hi, my name is Carson Elliott and I am a senior in the Center for Education and Human Development at Glen Allen High School. I play volleyball for ODVA and I have been a Tidal Wave for the past 14 years! I used to play bass guitar in a band and you can check out our music on Spotify under the name “Very Good Band”! I’m still waiting to hear from a few more colleges, so I’m not sure where I’ll be going next year. I’m looking forward to a great summer swim season!
Courtney Isley, Assistant Coach
Hi Tidal Waves!! My name is Courtney Isley and I will be an assistant coach for you all this summer. I have been swimming competitively for about 13 years and am still going strong! I swam for NOVA of Virginia Aquatics during my elementary, middle, and high school years, and am now continuing my academic and athletic career as a freshman at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. I graduated from JR. Tucker High School last year and swam for the Tigers as well. I am extremely excited to be working with you all and can’t wait to meet everyone!
Ben Nilson, Assistant Coach
Hey Tidal Waves! My name is Ben, and I can’t wait to be an assistant coach this year! I love swimming and have swam for as long as I can remember. In the past, I’ve swam for NOVA, SwimRVA, Deep Run, and Westwood Club. I’m currently a first year student at the University of Virginia with an undeclared major. At UVA, I’m on the club rowing and swim teams and an active member of the University Programs Council. I’m super excited to be part of the team, and I’m looking forward to meeting you all and to have a great season!
